Plugging the microphone into a PC or Mac, then plugging back into the mobile device will solve the issue.

In a small number of instances, the microphone will fail to be recognized by the MOTIV app, which will instead display вЂњBuilt-In MicвЂќ on the Mic Setup and Record screens and not record through the MV88+.

No adjustments can be made in real time (except gain) on the Shure MOTIV apps when using an iPad Pro. Shure recommends using another device to configure the settings before using with iPad Pro. However, the MOTIV apps will only display вЂexternal micвЂ™, and the settings screen will not be available.

When connected to iPad Pro via a USB-C cable, the MV88+ will pass audio and gain can be adjusted.

Users with some Android devices may experience 9 millisecond audio drop-outs when recording with the MV88+.
